Lower the age of smear tests in the UK to 16.

What the petition asks
Reading way too many tragic stories of women under 25 dying of cervical cancer. Smear tests should be a legal requirement from the age of 16. Too many young women are in danger and this needs to stop. It's so upsetting to read for us all and can easily be changed by the government moving the age.
No specific references. The government know what young women have died due to cervical cancer. We shouldn't need to reference them. Proof is in the news. There are too many to name which proves in itself that something needs to be done.
