Make the consumption of everything illegal
Rejected
11 signatures
What the petition asks
Alcohol, cigarettes, chocolate, crisps, bacon, pretty much all food and drink in general should be made illegal. Every year millions of people die in the UK die after consuming these products and are a massive public health risk.
Thousands of people each year die from drinking alcohol too much.
Thousands of people each year die from smoking tobacco too much.
Thousands of people each year die from eating food too much.
There is overwhelming evidence to support this, I would link websites for you but just ask all those in hospital suffering from heart attacks and who have cancer because they consumed too much of these products.
This will save the government so much money in death certificate costs.

Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
The title of your petition asks for the consumption of everything to be banned, but then the text of the petition specifies "Alcohol, cigarettes, chocolate, crisps, bacon, pretty much all food and drink in general should be made illegal". It's not clear to us exactly what you would like to be banned.
