What the petition asks

The evidence can no longer be ignored. We are being left to needlessly suffer. In this country, the UK, one of the most developed countries in the World, I find that an absolute disgrace.
Cannabis has the ability to save lives.

My name is Mairi, I have a 5 year old little girl called Sophie. Sophie has a severe epilepsy syndrome and has up to or over 100 seizures a day. At the age of 5 she has been through the mill and tried it all. All pharmaceuticals, diets and gone through brain surgery twice. We are out of options. I have been in discussions with her neurologist about Cannabis for over 2 years and we have still gotten nowhere. I have been told that this is Sophie's best shot...yet I cannot get access to it.
