Install CCTV at Kingfisher Community Special School

Rejected 13 signatures

What the petition asks

Kingfisher School is a special needs school. Children are coming home with bruise's. Some children come home with their jackets covered in their own faeces. Staff needs to be monitored for the safety of all the children.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

The installation of CCTV in this particular school is not something that the UK Government or Parliament could do.

You might like to start by contacting the school governors about this, if you haven’t already:

http://www.kingfisher.oldham.sch.uk/governers.aspx

Your local council might also be able to help you. You could start a petition on the Oldham Council e-petition site: http://committees.oldham.gov.uk/mgePetitionListDisplay.aspx

I would suggest that you contact the council first to find out if they have the power to help you with this issue.

You could also try contacting Ofsted with your concerns about the school: [email protected]
