Allow UK residents to host refugees within their homes.

Rejected 19 signatures

What the petition asks

We need a viable system within the UK for residents to be able to host refugees. We want to help, we want to offer our homes to these desperate people. We need the UK government to allow us to offer more help.
"Refugees Welcome" and "Airbnb" have had an amazing response through social media. Iceland have set an example by thousands of people offering up homes to refugees. The leaders in Spain have announced they would begin registering families to host refugees.
"Americans Supporting Syrian Refugees: Open Homes, Open Hearts", pledged to pressure the U.S. government to accept more Syrian refugees than the current quota. Already users have offered support and even volunteered as hosts.
