Smoking in a car with anyone under the age of 18 in scotland a criminal offence

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

As of 1st of October 2015, in England and Wales ONLY it is illegal for anyone to smoke in a car while a person under the age of 18 is present, I am calling for the government to extend this law to scotland. I do not understand why the law should go into force in England and Wales ONLY.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

Your petition is about something that the Scottish Government and the Scottish Parliament are responsible for. That means that the UK Government and Parliament can't look into it.
