All teachers to wear school uniform, or to allow all schools to wear non uniform

Rejected 13 signatures

What the petition asks

The class of 11B Life Skills at Guiseley School feel that it is unfair that teachers don't have to wear school uniform as they do. They feel that all Staff should wear a uniform too.

They feel if staff are unwilling to do this then they should be allowed to wear non uniform

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

Decisions about school uniform, and teachers' dress codes, are for a school's governing body and management to take.

You could ask your school's governing body to take the action you want to see in your school.

The Department for Education does produce guidance for schools:

You could start a petition asking for the Government to change the guidance it gives to schools.
