What the petition asks
I am all for helping those in need, however the numbers being suggested are ridiculous. The UK itself has a lot of problems to deal with in its own streets, and taking on more and more refugees is not going to help towards these problems at all.
here I will list a number of problems that should probably be looked at before moving more and more refugees:
- unemployment... There are a high number of unemployed people currently looking for jobs. Not just middle age people but the younger generation too.
- homeless... There are also a large amount of homeless people including but not limited to ex service men who have fought to prevent such wars as in Syria and they are just left to fend for themselves.
These are just two reasons, there are more.

Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
