stop fathers paying thousand's in court for the right to see their children

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

The way the system works where a mother has the right to deny a child's father access to his children then him having to pay £1000's of pounds in court for solicitors and court fee's is wrong as many cant afford it because of paying csa it should be that the mother has to pay to stop him.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

We're not quite sure what action you would like the Government to take.

It is clear that you are concerned about the cost of legal fees. You could ask the Government to provide more support to people to pay these fees (such as legal aid), or to reduce court fees.

But it also seems that you may want the laws around parent access to their children to be changed. If you would like a change to the law, then you could start a petition specifically asking for this change.
