Re-evaluate finance available based on cost of living for NHS funded students

What the petition asks
The funds available for students on NHS funded courses need to be reassessed to reduce the amount of people leaving courses due to financial hardship. The combination of placement & university hours makes regular work impossible for Student Midwives & Nurses meaning we're reliant on these funds,
Finding work as a midwifery student is difficult due to erratic availability, but funding available does not provide enough for even basic living costs. Figures below are costs quoted from the universities websites.
Students basic living costs in London (Imperial, King's & City) average £12,506 = deficit of £2,730.67
Student basic living costs outside London (Manchester, Sheffield & Cardiff) average £8,611 = deficit of £845.22
SFE Loan availability or NHS bursary need to be reassessed.
