What the petition asks
These new rules fail to take into account the difference in regional pay and the cost of living. The rules mean that a person living in London is more likely to meet the requirements while doing the same job as someone in Bradford. The rules are unfair and families are unfairly separated.
It also doesn't take into account familes and spouses that are pregnant and cannot find or are unable to work. In my case my husband is able to work and support his family (and has been offered jobs) but cannot as I cannot sponsor him (pregnant unable to find employment).
