Prevent the UK Government from unfairly imposing new Junior Doctor contracts

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

The UK Government has decided to impose a new contract on junior doctors from August 2016.
We need a contract that:
- guarantees no expansion of the number of hours paid at a standard rate
- ensures junior doctors are paid for all hours worked (including unscheduled hours)
- is fair to all
Despite repeated calls for the Government to work with the profession in the best interests of junior doctors and the patients they care for, the government still has given no assurances that it is committed to agreeing to the BMAs entirely reasonable demands.
