For the resignation of David Cameron

Rejected 16 signatures

What the petition asks

We the undersigned petition for the resignation of David Cameron for lying to the citizens of the United Kingdom about changes to the welfare bill. And his role in the illegal bombing in Syria.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

The resignation of an individual Minister is not a decision for the Government or Parliament as a whole.

We could accept a petition calling for a vote of no confidence in a Minister, because that is something that the House of Commons could do.
