What the petition asks
It is unfortunate that we have heard or witnessed or experienced the loss of life of people who have either intentionally or accidentally fallen on the track of an underground or train track. In response, the government should force the construction of needed safety barriers to prevent loss of life.
Someone recently died after being on the track at Walthamstow Central destination on the London Underground.
There have been many examples of such incidents throughout the UK.
It is extremely upsetting to hear or to be among those who have had to deal with the experience of a loss of life or injury from someone being on a train track.
Regardless of the reason (intentional / accidental) it should be requirement to install barriers or others such as on the Jubilee line, on every platform.
