What the petition asks
Make all wheelchair Taxis zero rated to users of it regardless of how many seats vehicle originally has before conversion.
Current rules say that vehicle must have 10 seats or more seats before conversion provided that 2 seats are removed or disabled solely for transporting wheelchair passengers.

Currently the maximum number of seats a Taxi can have is 8 + driver.
This rule is outdated and incompatible with DDA rules.
Taxis provide a vital public service the same as buses & community transport, they are zero rated taxis are not.

Cost More to Insure
But Taxi firms are Prohibited by law from charging more,
