What the petition asks
At the moment children as young as five can be denied access to a toilet or deterred, causing reluctance to ask during a lesson. This is detrimental to a child's health and well being.
Should a child suffer because of being put in a school situation?
They are being denied a basic human function.
Should a child suffer because of being put in a school situation?
They are being denied a basic human function.
I urge the government to investigate the impact this is having on children. To gather evidence from, for example, specialist medical professionals and psychologists and also to liaise with teachers to find a workable legislation in the interests of our children.
