Remove VAT from a range of scientific instruments for the period of the current term of government in order to make science more accessible for children both at home and in education.
It should include specific instruments that are expensive for children, parents and the education sector to buy.

The sciences and engineering skills shortage is well documented. The Chief Scientific Adviser to the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, Professor John Perkins, produced a detailed review of this. He shows that the UK economy will benefit significantly from a boost in skills and making science more accessible will support the recommendations for action by government, industry, the engineering profession, and the education sector.
