Introduce routine checking, logging & monitoring of birthmarks in postnatal care

What the petition asks
A vast majority of birthmarks are harmless, but sometimes they can be an indicator of rare genetic disorders such as Legius Syndrome, Tuberous Sclerosis, Neurofibromatosis Type 1 or 2, McCune-Albright Syndrome, Sturge-Weber syndrome and many more...
I am asking for a change so that healthcare professionals involved in postnatal care, check for, monitor & log any birthmarks on babies so that these rare genetic disorders can be diagnosed quickly and the appropriate information, care & treatment is given from an early age. It would only take an extra minute at a routine check to look for any marks and it could make a huge difference.
