Make car seat safety mandatory in ante-natal classes & run in childrens centres.

What the petition asks
Cover such topics as: correct placement/positioning of the car seat, correct use of the belted/iso-fix system, benefits of rear-facing, use of harness including positioning / twisted / degree of tightness of straps, dangers of padded jackets/snowsuits/blankets under the harness, position of buckle.
To help to reduce the number of children who are seriously injured/killled in car accidents due to being incorrectly restrained. Courses in children's centres to be open to all family members/carers who carry a child in their car so they can know how to safely restrain the child.
