What the petition asks

Cannabis in its most natural form contains medical ability's far more effective than most medical treatments.This debate is one that needs to continue to hit the doorstep of Westminster and each time it is over looked and dismissed. People should be granted the right to the treatments they need
Medical marijuana and oils are used and have been proven time and again to cure cancer and others terminal illnesses.Several studies concluded the positive effects of cannabis,yet it is overlooked.Prohibition has failed and is continuing at a staggering cost to Mr. and Mrs. tax payer to fail.With the proper attitude and approach , cannabis can work for our health service and our national pocket.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

The existing petition on legalising cannabis is still open for new signatures until 21 January 2016 so we cannot accept a duplicate.

This petition was debated on 12 October. It is still possible for MPs to seek further debates or action on this issue if they wish to do so.
