What the petition asks
Lancashire Constabulary faces further budgetary cuts despite being rated 'outstanding' in a recent report. Police officer numbers will have reduced from 3,611 in 2010 to 1,699 in 2020. This is a total reduction of 1,912 officers. This equates to 52% reduction in their workforce.
We are calling on the Home Office and The Rt Hon Theresa May MP to defend Lancashire Constabulary.
