What the petition asks
Timber framed building town, no fire station.... Death will rise.
No bank...no local business trade. Bewdley will close commercially completely. This has to STOP!

They call this progress? The powers that be are slowly but surely sucking the life out of our beautiful town.
How are they expecting a small town like Bewdley to be able to cope without a Bank, a Fire Station...What next?
This is a complete disgrace, do not let our town suffer and help us!
WE NEED YOU! Make sure you sign your name and help us show your support for Bewdley!
We are also running an online petition on Facebook.

Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
This isn't something on which the UK Government or Parliament could take action.
A decision to close a bank branch is a commercial decision taken by the bank.
The fire station is the responsibility of the Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service. You could contact local councillors about this. You can use this page to find out who the local councillors are and how to contact them:
