Petition · past parliament

We want the Home Office to accept a mandatory EU refugee resettlement quota.

What the petition asks

Britain's ongoing refusal to participate in EU resettlement schemes and quotas is shameful. Britain contributed to the crisis in Syria and it's unacceptable that we opt out of quotas leaving EU neighbouring countries to manage this humanitarian crisis. We can do more and we must take responsibility.
Show Cameron and May that we care and that we won't give up. We can prevent unnecessary suffering and inevitable deaths. We must help.
