More support for people escaping domestic violence

What the petition asks
The Government and local councils need to provide more support to people who are escaping domestic violence. Anyone escaping domestic violence with children should be given priority for local authority housing to provide stability.
Survivors of domestic violence who are working should not have to give up their careers to move away. They should be supported to continue in work. No one should risk being deemed 'intentionally homeless' if they leave their home address due to domestic violence or are encouraged to leave by Hestia, IDVA, NCDV, Police or Social Services.
