Investgate Daniel Cohen's time at the BBC for possible pro israeli biase

What the petition asks
On leaving the BBC Cohen has come out strongly in support of Israel in the letter in the Guardian. I am concerned this has impact on BBC neutrality when reporting on the Middle East and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, especially.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The BBC is an independent body governed by a Royal Charter. Under the terms of that Charter, the BBC is operationally and editorially independent of government and there is no provision for the government to intervene in the BBC’s day-to-day operations.
