Scrap proposed cash generating unrealistic speed restriction changes on the M1.

What the petition asks
The proposed 1 mph tolerance is unacceptable for two main reasons:
1) speed cameras should be used for public safety and not as cash generators
2) setting such a strict limit will distract drivers as it is very difficult to remain within such a tight threshold without constantly checking speed.

The Government needs to step in to stop this dangerous precedent being set by Bedfordshire Police. It is simply taking advantage of human fallibility for cash generation. Sign this petition to stop said changes in their tracks.
