Make the barrier at St Peters way bridge Bolton higher!
Rejected

What the petition asks
The barrier at St peters way bridge needs to be higher to prevent people being able to climb over and commit suicide! I personally know people who have jumped from this bridge and it is still happening, it is too east for people to be able to climb over as it is at a level that isnt that high.
There has been a number of people taking their own lifes on this bridge as it easy to climb over to get onto the wrong side. To make the barriers high could prevent people from climbing over and could lower the number of people using it to take their own lifes.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
This is the responsibility of Bolton Council, not the UK Parliament or Government.
