To make 'Attachment & Early Brain Development' part of the National Curriculum.

What the petition asks

Research suggests we develop an 'attachment' to key caregivers in early life. Developing a 'secure attachment' is linked to good self-esteem, healthy relationships & emotional wellbeing. Yet the average person has no awareness of 'attachment' & 40% of children don't develop a 'secure attachment'.
Research suggests the type of 'attachment' we develop can impact on the way we feel about ourselves, others & make sense of the world for the rest of our lives.

Everyone should know about the importance of 'attachment'.

We call on the government to acknowledge research that links the importance of 'Attachment & Early Brain Development' with better outcomes for children; and make it part of the National Curriculum.
