Force e-commerce websites to declare delivery charges for products up front.

What the petition asks
We've all used e-commerce websites, thinking we've got a great deal, only to discover shipping costs added at the last minute - often when we've already entered our personal details. In the UK, e-commerce sites should be made to specify delivery of items openly on the product page.
Hidden charges have been clarified in the airline industry, why should they be tolerated in other forms of online purchase? Online competition has led to more and more companies looking to show the lowest headline price - often with shipping costs hidden until late in their transaction processes. This information is known, so why not advertise it from the outset, to allow consumers to make a fair comparison.
