What the petition asks

Privatisation was intended to have funding from the private sector improve services. Profits & passenger numbers have increased but quality of service has not risen in line with this.
London Midland & GoVia refuse to reinvest & must have their franchise given to an operator who will reinvest.
Staff deployed in unrealistic & unworkable patterns/timetables causing knock on delays & cancellations.
Inadequate staffing causes short notice cancellations.
Inadequate maintenance causes train faults.
Inadequate service lengths causes overcrowding & delays.
Inadequate customer service for information & complaints.
