What the petition asks
Currently they have to apply for a visa for a chance to be granted or denied permission to UK for short-term holiday. Every time the application is complex, online form, required documents, interview & large cost to be submitted for decision by the home office. Many refused & genuine families split.
Kelly's story a sad struggle every year "My son's first Christmas spent without his Daddy or family together to make precious memories. I go without my husband, it breaks my heart leaving holding back tears saying bye. Dreaded refusal our hearts sank as we opened it, can't believe they deny us again. How will I explain Daddy isn't coming. Unable to visit 'home', experience my culture. I'm a British Citizen I don't have rights to appeal. Cherish every min with loved ones some don't have a choice"
