Petition · past parliament

Drop the first I in ISIS. They do not represent Islam in any form.

Rejected 15 signatures

What the petition asks

Referring to Isis as Islamic only increases racial tensions for Muslim comunities in the UK. They do not represent Islam or the views of Muslims worldwide and in Britain. So let's stop referring to them as such.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

Your petition seems to be asking everyone to take this action. That's not something that the UK Government and Parliament can make happen.

If you would like the Government and Parliament to change the way they refer to ISIS, you could start a petition asking for that.
