What the petition asks
She's detained at Yarls Wood immigration removal centre and has been there for 11 days without access to her anti depression medicine or access to a counsellor. We applied to the HO for her to stay, they refused on the basis that I should go to live in Pakistan and not tell anyone we are atheist
The Home Office tried to rush a refusal in 5 days and have stated that she "has not proven that she isnt Muslim" and she could live as an unmarried woman without harm and that I a white British atheist could live with her without risk or harm of hardship, the Government travel advice states that "There is a high threat from terrorism, kidnap and sectarian violence throughout Pakistan. There is a heightened threat of terrorist attacks, and kidnapping against western nationals in Pakistan."
