What the petition asks
So many people feel that Islam is a Violent and Racist religion that we need a definitive debate taking evidence from all sides of the argument and a parliamentary vote taking place after a debate so that followers of Islam are freed from the stigma that The Koran is the cause of radicalisation.
It is time that a debate took place and an investigation for a definitive answer as to whether The Koran is of itself a cause of Radicalisation. It is time for the 109 passages calling for action against non believers was examined and a decision made as to whether these are appropriate in the 21st century. This would be for the good of all Muslims and all Non Muslims.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept petitions about things that the Government and Parliament aren't responsible for. They aren't responsible for making decisions about religions in the way you describe.
