Hold a referendum on changing the voting system to Proportional Representation.

What the petition asks

Most governments within the UK are not true majorities.
The current system (First Past the Post) also encourages:
- tactical voting - which converges the choice of parties down to two.
- changing boundaries which enables parties in power to manipulate in order to keep power.
There are already Proportional representation systems within UK democracy; both the Scottish and European parliaments use (different) systems of Proportional Representation.
