Allow the Lord's prayer advert to be used in cinemas across the UK
Rejected
18 signatures
What the petition asks
Odeon,Cineworld and Vue have banned the advert from being shown on the same bill as Star Wars: The Force Awakens, due to open just before Christmas arguing that it could offend those of "differing faiths and no faith". Where is freedom of speech and any recognition of Christianity in the UK anymore?
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
This decision is a result of the policy of Digital Cinema Media, not a decision by the Government or Parliament.
