Stop the knife angel made up of Murder weapons being placed in our city.

What the petition asks

There are concerns that the community have not been consulted in the development of the Knife Angel .The British Iron work centre state they have received support for its development. That is not evidenced anywhere. We do however support the removal of the weapons of our streets but not the angel!
THE COMMUNITY ARE ASKING TO BE HEARD! No one feels like they have been consulted. How is this going to benefit society? Do the families really need to go into central London and see this as a constant reminder .How about those that have not yet had justice. Could the evidence of been sterilised and melted down? It has been created as a memorial when actually its insulting and in sensitive. Put something in London that promotes the positivity of our young people. share that with the world !

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

A decision about where to place a statue would be the decision of your local authority, not the UK Government and Parliament.
