What the petition asks
Gingers come in all shades, colours and creeds. We all have one thing in common. The MC1R mutation.
We should be allowed the option to identify ourselves as Ginger and align with our red headed brothers and sisters.
Sign the form and give us the option to recognised as what we are. Ginger.

Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
We're not sure what action you are asking for. People with ginger hair can come from different ethnic backgrounds. It is not therefore clear how people could give "ginger" as an ethnicity.
If you would like government forms to offer people the chance to identify their hair colour, you could start a petition calling for that.
