Deport hate preachers & their supporters immediately without ref to human rights

Rejected 18 signatures

What the petition asks

Terrorist threats in the UK needs to be addressed, including the immediate removal of those people & their supporters who are supporting anti UK freedoms including religious beliefs & who actively encourage their supporters to carry out terrorist atrocities similar to those recently seen in Paris
Human Rights legislation (including EU directives) was not intended to allow extremists the freedom of speech to be able to create civil unrest or encourage the most violent of terrorist activities

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

We cannot accept your petition as it seems to be asking for British citizens to be deported. It is not possible for the Government to carry out that action. You can find more information about that here:

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/identifying-british-citizens-and-others-exempt-from-deportation

The Government already has the power to deport people when the Home Secretary has decided that their removal from the country is 'conducive to the public good'.

A court can also recommend deportation if someone is convicted of a criminal offence with a prison term.
