What the petition asks
Following the Commons debate on air strikes in Syria, a number of MP's supporting the Government were seen laughing and cheering, which as a wholly inappropriate behaviour for such a serious decision, which will no doubt involve the deaths of innocent civilians and endanger military personnel.

Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The behaviour of individual MPs, and a decision about whether to apologise for their actions, is the responsibility of the individuals concerned, not the UK Government or the House of Commons as a whole.
