What the petition asks
Since the postal voting system was introduced there have been too many allegations of fraud made by political parties, politicians, respected news sources and members of the public.
The postal voting system HAS TO BE CHANGED to ensure fairness, true democracy and remove all doubt of fraud.
The postal voting system HAS TO BE CHANGED to ensure fairness, true democracy and remove all doubt of fraud.
Nobody can deny the current system is flawed and open to abuse.
This petition is firstly requesting to restrict those who qualify to vote via the postal voting system to the following; the disabled, the infirm and members of the Armed Services serving abroad.
Secondly all other voters should present photo ID at the polling staion as recommended by the Electoral Commision in 2014.
