What the petition asks
Once an MP is elected, they can ignore their Constituents’ wishes. Constituents must wait five years before they can do anything about this. MPs can even ignore Disabled Constituents, or refuse to have email addresses etc. for people to contact them.
MPs should be required to:-
1) make contacting them accessible for everyone; and
2) adhere to basic equality standards.
