What the petition asks

Margate as we all know is not what it used to be. However one thing local people have always loved is the tradition of a Xmas tree in Cecil square. Families, kids, elderly all love to see it and it brightens up an otherwise deprived area.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
