Prevent the BBC from lying or distorting the truth for their own agenda

Rejected 18 signatures

What the petition asks

The BBC twists the truth, failing to report events that don't match thier political agenda. EG: Donal Trump called for "a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on. " The BBC dropped the ending to attack him.
1) Video editing - Removing anything that might indicate that immigrants are a problem.

2) Constant use of biased adjectives.

3) Making attacks on anyone who does not fit their liberal political outlook. Eg: The extremely childish attack on Donald Trump "the danger of working with children and animals" spoken TO THE EAGLE to imply that Trump is an animal.

4) Loaded questions such as "This is a terrible thing to say, isn't it" instead of "Please tell us what has happened"

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

The BBC is an independent body governed by a Royal Charter. Under the terms of that Charter, the BBC is operationally and editorially independent of government and there is no provision for the government to intervene in the BBC’s day-to-day operations.
