What the petition asks
I feel that the Dartford Crossing should be held by the public, to stop money being generated for a private company, and to ensure the service is run in the interests of the public. Thousands of people have been affonted by this company and I believe it needs to stop.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Dart Charge is not a private company. It is the responsibility of Highways England, which is a public body.
