What the petition asks
Guaranteed minimum income means the provision of identical payments from a government to all of its citizens, that is unconditionally granted to all on an individual basis, without means test or work requirement.
A basic income will provide a more substantial safety net for all people. and will contribute to less working hours, better working conditions and a better distribution of jobs.
It is a means for sharing out the wealth produced by a society to all people.
It can help people do other work and reconsider old choices.
It rewards unpaid contributions to society that our economy increasingly relies on.
And is a way to redistribute the advantages of on-going technological advancement.
