Don’t remove the veto power of the House of Lords

What the petition asks
The House of Lords are experienced, knowledgeable and provide additional scrutiny of legislation proposed by the Government. When the Government planned to cut the tax credits of millions, the House of Lords rightly vetoed the decision.
Now the Government is considering changes to the House of Lords’ power to reject secondary legislation. This is not right. The House of Commons should reject any proposal to change the existing powers of the House of Lords in relation to its consideration of delegated legislation.
