Rejected
13 signatures
What the petition asks
The government has known for many months that Saudi Arabia are involved in genocide in Yemen and are deliberately bombing civilians. The MOD licence weapons sales to Saudi Arabia. It is illegal under International Law to do this where it is suspected that these weapons are being used on civilians
The BBC made a documentary- Yemen's forgotten war which was broadcast many months ago. It showed Saudi Arabia deliberately bombing refugee camps in Yemen. Following the documentary a spokesman for the MOD was interviewed about breaking International Law licensing Arm sales to Saudi knowing this was happening. The spokesman didn't reply
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
