What the petition asks
We give money to foreign aid and have a budget set aside each year,
some recipients are justified but there are some that make no sense i.e India who's government have a space program funded on the back of our donations
But there are UK citizens in disasters, floods & even poverty that we overlook

Flood defences need scrutinising across the UK, as we have seen again & again defences do no go as planned, rescue & aid are thinly spread.
In 2013 the RAF, Royal Navy & Coastguard search & rescue operations was privatised after a 70 year long service from in house managed operations.
We need to be taking a slice of the foreign aid budget for UK soil in these circumstances.
Some families have not been able to enjoy Christmas and lost loved ones
There are currently 28 flood warnings across the UK
