What the petition asks
Thousands of people play the lotto draw every week both on a Wednesday and a Saturday. The new lotto draw structure started on 10th October 2015 with the first draw using the new 59 ball format.
This instantly changed the odds of winning a jackpot prize from one in 14 million to one in 45 million.
This instantly changed the odds of winning a jackpot prize from one in 14 million to one in 45 million.
In the weeks since changes to structure, jackpot won 4 times with the present roll over fund increasing over last eleven consecutive draws without a winner.Lower prize tiers also affected in same way with fewer winners in each tier over same period. The change that has taken place makes it almost impossible to win a prize and will drive players to other platforms to attempt to win prize money. This no longer a National Lottery.
